Issue 41 May 2004

The first community exhibition at Burngreave Chapel, entitled ‘…Still…’ opened on the Friday night of 2nd April, with 200 visitors coming to see the work of 18 artists, with an additional 500 visitors over the weekend.

It was hoped that with such a varied range of work, people would find the event inspiring, as well as providing the opportunity to see the chapel building in a new light and welcome everyone to share a vision for the building’s potential.

Friends of Burngreave Chapel & Cemetery would like to host more events like this one in the near future.

If you would like to join the management group or hold your own exhibition/event, please contact Cassie Limb on 276 0630 or
or drop in at the AGM 12 noon Sunday 9th May.
